BUS TRAVELERS RETURNED TO GROW IN NOVEMBER 2018

INE (Spanish Stadistics Institute) has published today that more than 437,1 M travelers have used publuictransport in November, 2,4% more than in 2017.

Urban and interurban transport have a 2,4% increase on annual rate. Within the long-distance, highlights the 7.3% increase in air transport.

On the other hand, the rate of variation of the number of passengers in public transport in November from October is -6,3%.

Interurban transport

More than 118,9 M travelers have used interurban transport in November, which means a 2,5% of increase according to November 2017.

By type of transport, air transport grew 7,3%, bus transport 3,1%, train transport 1,7% and sea transport 0,5%.

Commuter lineas had a 3,6% increase on transport BY BUS and, a 1,2% increase by railway. The half distance grew 2.1% in transport by bus and by 3.7% in the railway.

Finally, big distances grew 2,0% in transport by bus and 8,8% by railway.Within the latter, the AVE grew 9.0%.
