(Español) AUMENTA LA MATRICULACIÓN DE AUTOBUSES UN 1,3% EN EUROPA

Acea, European Automobile Manufacturers Association, has delivered the datums of all the comercial vehicles and the buses enrollemented on December and on the year of 2018.

The results of December showed a strong decrease (13,4%) on the bus and coach records. Francia suffered the biggest decrease (-46,2%), followed by United Kingdom (-27,5%), and Spain (-16,7%). In contrast, bus petition increased in Germany (+5,4%) and Italy (+5,05%) during the last month of 2018.

Therefore, Europe registered 41.992 buses and coaches in 2018, 1,3% more than the previous year. The growth was encouraged by the Central European Market (+18,6%), giving a crucial boost to Europe in order to  have a positive result at the end of the year. On the other hand, all the main markets of Western Europe shrank in 2018. Except Italia that registered a strong increase (+36,7%).

The sale of coaches and buses stalled the last trimester of 2018 in Spain. Comparing to December of 2017, in 2018 it suffered a 16,7% decrease and it aculumates a -5,7%  for the year. In 2018, 895 microbuses and 2.778 buses and coaches were enrollemented.
