Travelling with a bike or a pet

Free of charge, but the space must be booked

Bringing your bicycle or your pet costs nothing. What you do need to do is book its space, because they do not travel in the passenger cabin but in designated areas of the coach, which have a fixed capacity: the number of spaces per service is limited and cannot be increased at the last minute.

The booking is added while buying the ticket, right after choosing your seat. There you will see "BICICLETA" and "MASCOTAS" with the number of spaces left and an "Añadir" (Add) button. It is selected per passenger and per leg, so on a return trip you must book it for both.

If the service is already full, the system will not let you add it and you will need to pick another departure.

How many spaces there are on each coach

Bicycles

3 spaces per coach, one per ticket. They travel in the hold, so the bicycle must be properly packed and protected in a cover designed for transport.

The same conditions apply to other sports or leisure equipment of comparable size, such as surfboards.

Pets

1 space per service, for animals weighing up to 10 kg (dogs, cats, ferrets and similar). They travel in a designated area, inside an approved, closed and secure carrier.

The law prohibits carrying animals in the passenger cabin, with the sole exception of assistance dogs, which do not take up this space.

Before boarding

If you are travelling with a bicycle

• Arrive at least 10 minutes early, with the space already booked.
• The bicycle must be packed and secured in a transport cover.
• Our staff will show you how to stow it in the hold.

If you are travelling with a pet

• Arrive at least 15 minutes early, with the space already booked.
• The carrier must be approved, closed and have a waterproof base to contain any waste.
• You place it in the coach yourself, with the driver's help and following their instructions.
• The animal must be in good physical, hygienic and emotional condition. A muzzle is not compulsory, but it is recommended.
• You handle loading and unloading yourself.
